He was born in 1962 in Olomouc under the sign of Taurus. A spirited artist and a playful stage partner with a love for poetry and music. He began his acting career in the renowned Zlín amateur group Malá scéna. After brief episodes as a mailman and stagehand, he joined the Brno Satirical Theatre Večerní Brno as an apprentice and attended the Brno House of Arts as a spectator. Back then, the Goose on a String Theatre was the theatre of his dreams After working at the Těšín Theatre, he spent twenty-four seasons at the Klicpera Theatre in Hradec Králové, and briefly at the Divadlo Drak. He took it to the Goose on a String through four seasons in the National Theatre Brno. When he's not rehearsing, he sits in the garden and watches. He doesn't even entertain the question of what he would do if he hadn't become an actor. He is the recipient of the 2014 Theatre News Award for his portrayal of Georges Méliès, which he performed at the Divadlo Drak under the direction of Jiří Havelka. He tied himself to the Goose on a String Theatre in 2019.
